Information for New Users
This is a new version of The Lead Generator. Because the format of the data base is different from the previous version, we have decided to bootstrap the new data base, and not convert the old data to the new format. As a result, the data may be a little "thin" for a few weeks while we get going. We apologize for the inconvenience. Please stop back often, as the data tends to grow rather quickly.
In the meantime, as a new user the most important thing for you to remember is that you need to post your company's Needs, Products and Services, Leads, and Profile information (especially your correct email address,) before you can take full advantage of The Lead Generator. Your access to the data base will be blocked if you do not keep this information current. Also, be careful not to put advertisements in the Leads area, and make sure all of your data is honest and accurate. (Other users will not want to do business with you otherwise.)
Finally, be sure to check out the User's Guide. It includes a lot of helpful hints about how to get the most out of the system, including how to find leads by inference, and how to follow-through to develop an opportunity.
