Beyond that, here are four things that you can keep in mind to be sure that you get the most leads - and the most good leads - out of the system (whether you're looking for opportunities to sell, or to buy.)

  1. Post all your information and keep it up-to-date. This includes posting your Company Description, your company's Needs, its Products and Services, its Ads, and any Leads you have. (On The Lead Generator, "Leads" - with an upper case "L" - are actually opportunities for other people to sell something. A "lead" - with a lower case "l" - is an opportunity for you to sell something, and it can come in any form, just like in the real world: a Company Description, a Need, an Ad, etc.) Many companies find that the best thing to do is to get their Purchasing Manager and other corporate decision makers to post their Needs. This way they can reduce the cost of what they buy while making the system available to the sales and marketing people so they can sell more. Updating once a month is the minimum required.
